2012 Dodge Charger R/T
Nov 28th
If you’re one of those drivers who’s just not happy unless you’re at the wheel of a big, rear-drive American sedan (and there are quite a lot of you) then the Dodge Charger is right up your alley. The Charger’s low and wide, driven by the “proper” wheels, and it’s got a choice of six or eight cylinders under the hood. For additional cool points, it’s also largely inherited the cop-car mantle passed on when the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor bit the dust. When it was first introduced, critics slammed the Charger for taking the name of a classic muscle coupe and having the audacity to sport four doors, but this car has grown into its name nicely.
For 2011 the Charger received a handsome facelift and some new option packages. Bigger news is on the way for 2012, when an all-new eight-speed transmission arrives to improve gas mileage and drivability. New option packages are also available. The improvements keep the Charger high on the desirable-family-car list. More >
2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

The baddest Mustang in the land may have a back seat and a full-size trunk, but it doesn’t give up much in terms of horsepower, attitude or race-track breeding. For 2011, Ford’s Special Vehicle Team is taking things a step farther with a horsepower and torque boost, a mild diet, aerodynamic and transmission enhancements, and styling upgrades inside and out. 2010 Chrysler 300C SRT8
Apr 8th
A lot of folks think that muscle cars are exclusively two-door coupes. The Chrysler 300C SRT8 begs to differ. Sure, it’s a “luxury performance sedan” that competes with long-distance, high-speed cruisers like the BMW M5 and Audi S6 at a much lower price, but the first time you get on the gas and the HEMI V8 under the hood smacks you in the backside with an unmistakable roar, there’s no doubt that this car has the heart of a dragstrip monster. The equipment puts this car in the luxury performance sedan class, but that V8 growl is all muscle car.
